Dorchester Moves Us

The drivers who keep Boston moving never cease to amaze and inspire us. At one of the events we hosted for Dorchester driver-partners, we were able to meet hundreds of incredible people, hear their stories, and learn about their experiences driving with Uber.

Among the crowd of mothers, fathers, small-business owners, freelance designers, and other people enjoying the flexibility of the Uber platform, we met an energetic group of entrepreneurs who dubbed themselves #MoneyTeam. These charismatic gentlemen devised weekly competitions for earnings, host barbeques, and built a community where together they’re learning and growing as driver-partners.

Dorchester partners have earned over $11 million dollars this past year alone

Uber has been an economic engine that has helped provide new opportunities for thousands of residents in South Boston and Dorchester. In fact, one in fifty Dorchester residents is an Uber partner-driver! They’re providing a valuable service to millions of people across the greater Boston area.
