Uber DFW + Dress for Success: On-Demand Clothing Drive

In honor of International Women’s Day, Uber is working alongside Dress for Success Dallas to offer riders in DFW the opportunity to help disadvantaged women prepare for upcoming job interviews. Riders can help local women by donating gently used professional attire, all at the tap of a button.

HOW IT WORKS:

• Make sure you’re in the request zone here
• Enter promo code DRESS4DFW into your Uber app
• Bag up gently-used professional attire, unopened makeup, accessories and new/unopened toiletries (i.e. jackets, suits, blouses, black and brown handbags, shoes (size 9 or above), jewelry, and toiletries like toothbrushes/toothpaste, full-size shampoo and conditioners, mascara, lipstick, deodorant, etc.)
• Open the Uber app between 11AM – 1PM on Tuesday, March 8
• Request GIVE near the bottom of your screen
• If you’re connected, an SUV will arrive to pick up your items and will drop off your donation to Dress for Success Dallas – for FREE!

Pro Tip: Bring donation items to work and gather one big donation pickup from your workplace on Tuesday. Share the donation drive with co-workers that may not yet use Uber and encourage the entire office to participate!
