Connecting Portland’s Neighborhoods

After just two months, Uber is connecting Portland’s neighborhoods like never before. In fact, after only a short time in Portland, more than 1,500 Portland residents have partnered with Uber to provide over 100,000 safe, reliable rides to their neighbors.

During this time, we have found that most popular destinations are in the core neighborhood of Portland.

Downtown is the number 1 destination
Buckman is number 2
Northwest District is number 3
Old Town Chinatown is 4
Lloyd district is number 5

To celebrate how Uber can connect the city, we have partnered with Venture Portland to highlight Portland’s diverse neighborhoods and encourage locals to continue exploring their city.

We will be offering free rides (up to $20) to three  Portland neighborhoods over the next three months. In return, Portland businesses will be dishing out discounts and unique promotions to customers who show an Uber ride receipt.

Our first neighborhood– starting this Friday– will be the industrial sanctuary of the Central Eastside. Future neighborhoods include Division / Clinton & Montavilla / Foster.
