Committed to Innovation for MA’s Blind and Low Vision Community

Last week, we announced the launch of the Uber Disability Coalition, a group of local leaders dedicated to providing increased mobility through the use of Uber’s technology.

Today, we are pleased to announce that we are the latest company to join the Perkins Business Partnership (PBP), furthering our commitment to serving all Massachusetts riders. We are proud to join this alliance between Perkins School of the Blind and Massachusetts businesses and nonprofits committed to breaking down barriers to employment and expanding opportunities for individuals who are blind or have low vision.

In partnership with Perkins and our fellow PBP members, we hope to explore ways that our technology, network of driver-partners, and growing coverage area can help provide both employees and employers in Massachusetts with a reliable commuting solution for their employees who are blind or have low vision.
