Helpful hints for getting to and from large events and venues
WHEN REQUESTING
Simply enter the venue name or address and the Uber app will automatically navigate you and your driver to the correct dropoff location.
WHEN LEAVING
Open your Uber app and you'll see specific information, based on your location, to make your pickup as easy as possible.
GETTING TO YOUR RIDE
Follow the in-app directions to locate your ride. If needed, call or text your driver to ensure a quicker pickup.
Venues
- When leaving, follow Uber directional signage to the pickup area. Due to high volume following a concert, you may need to contact your driver upon arrival at the Uber pickup zone via the “contact” button in your app.
- When leaving via the west side exit, select “West Side Entrance” in the app and proceed toward Ponce City Market N NE to catch your ride.
- When leaving via the south side exit, select “South Side Entrance” in app and head toward signage in the parking lot to catch your ride.
- When leaving, exit via the main gate and proceed to the right toward Encore Parkway, where your driver will pick you up.
- Due to expected high volume following a concert, you may need to contact your driver upon arrival at the Uber pickup zone via the “contact” button in your app.
- When leaving via the south side of the park, proceed toward the ferris wheel, contact your driver via the “contact” button in your app, and provide the nearest cross street for a faster pickup.
- When leaving the west side of the park, proceed towards the nearest entrance on Piedmont Avenue, locate the nearest cross street, and contact your driver with the “contact” button in your app to confirm your exact location.
- When leaving the south side of the park, proceed to 10th St., locate the nearest cross street, and contact your driver via the “contact” button in your app to confirm your exact location.
- Leave the Aquarium through the main exit, turn right, and proceed to the corner of Baker St. and Luckie St. to catch your ride.
- When leaving Zoo Atlanta, proceed toward the Cherokee Lot located on Cherokee Avenue, contact your driver with the “contact’ button in your app, and catch your ride in the lot.
