What better way to discover Buford Highway than to eat your way through it? UberEATS is teaming up with We Love BuHi on Wednesday, December 16 to bring a bit of BuHi magic to the rest of Atlanta.

UberEATS will feature three of Buford Highway’s top restaurants for lunch in our Midtown, Downtown, and Buckhead service area.  Eaters can enjoy dishes from Chateau Saigon, La Pastorcita, and Sweet Hut Bakery & Cafe with easy ordering through the Uber app and curbside delivery in 10 minutes or less.

The purpose of We Love BuHi is to promote the places, plates, and people of Buford Highway one picture, story, and dream at a time. Named “Best Neighborhood Documentarian” this year by Creative Loafing Atlanta, founder Marian Liou — a second-generation immigrant who’s spent her whole life eating on BuHi and places like it — is clearly fulfilling that purpose.

A big part of We Love BuHi is reimagining Buford Highway and bringing about change. For Liou, that means more fun, beauty, access, and community through events like Buford Highway Pop-Up Patio, Bikes and Bites along the highway, and the Foreign Cinema series collaboration with Videodrome.

This month, take an Uber to Canton House to catch a Hong Kong cinema favorite paired with a full-course dinner as We Love BuHi hosts the next installment of the Buford Highway Foreign Cinema. Tickets to the screening, featuring Wong Kar-wai’s In The Mood For Love, can be purchased directly on the We Love BuHi website.

UberEATS is available weekdays from 11am – 2pm in Downtown, Midtown, and Buckhead. View the coverage map here. For inquiries about We Love BuHi, contact Marian Liou here.
