How to sign up and link accounts
Step 1: You must be an AerClub member
- If you aren’t an AerClub member, you can join for free today.
Step 2: Scan this QR code on your phone
- If you already have the Uber app, this QR code will lead you to the account-linking page in the app.
- If you don’t have the Uber app, this QR code will lead you to download the Uber app in the App Store or on Google Play.
Step 3: Open your account settings
In the Account section of the Uber app, choose Settings, then scroll down to Rewards and choose AerClub. On the next screen, select Link account.
Step 4: Link your accounts
Follow the instructions on the account-linking page. Now you’re ready to start collecting Avios with Uber.

Frequently asked questions
- How can I collect Avios?
To collect Avios with AerClub, you must have AerClub and Uber accounts and link them. Both are free to sign up. After being linked, you’ll collect 1 Avios per €1 spent on Uber trips in Ireland and £1 spent on Uber trips, trains, coaches, boats, and 2-wheels in the UK. Avios collected is based on the price of the qualifying ride, excluding tips and any miscellaneous fees such as cleaning charges. Terms and conditions apply.*
- How do I link my accounts?
You can link your accounts by following the instructions in the Uber app (go to the steps above). Or you can visit AerLingus.com for more information. If you’re not already a member of AerClub, you’ll need to sign up and create an account before you can link it to your Uber account.
- How many accounts can I link to?
Only one Uber account can be linked to one AerClub account, and the accounts must belong to the same person. Accounts can be unlinked at any time, after which you’ll no longer be able to collect Avios with AerClub.
- How will I know if my accounts have been successfully linked?
You’ll receive a success message in the Uber app after the accounts have been linked.
- Where else can I collect Avios?
You can collect Avios with other Avios collection partners. Visit AerLingus.com to view a list of partners.
- Is there a minimum or maximum spending amount?
No, you can earn Avios on any qualifying trips taken within the Republic of Ireland or the UK, regardless of the amount you spend.
- When will my Avios be awarded?
Your Avios will be awarded up to 24 hours after you complete your qualifying trip. Retrospective claims are not permitted; you must have linked your Uber account to your AerClub account before taking the ride.
- How will my Avios for other promotions be credited to my account?
If there’s a bonus promotion, Avios will be awarded according to the terms and conditions of that promotion’s offer.
- What can I do about Avios I’m missing from a journey I took with Uber?
If you’re missing Avios, please allow 24 hours from the conclusion of your ride for them to be awarded. If you’re still missing them after that time, please contact Uber through the Help section in the app to investigate whether your accounts were linked, you’ve taken a qualifying ride, and that the time to award has passed. If the Avios are missing and you’ve met all the criteria, Uber will raise a missing Avios request with AerClub and the Avios will be awarded within 14 days.
- Can I collect Avios with both AerClub and The British Airways Club on my Uber trips?
You can link to both programs, but you’ll need to choose which partner you want to collect with by making them your Earning Partner in the Uber app. You can only collect Avios with one loyalty partner at a time. Find out more here.
Program Terms and Conditions
- This Offer is jointly provided by (1) Uber B.V (“Uber”) a company registered in the Netherlands, whose registered office is at Mr. Treublaan 7, 1097 DP, Amsterdam, the Netherlands (registered at the Amsterdam Chamber of Commerce under number 56317441); (2) Uber Eats Ireland Limited (“Uber Eats”) a company incorporated in the Republic of Ireland and whose registered office is at 47 Thomas Street, 3rd Floor, Limerick; and (3) Avios Group (AGL) Limited (“AGL”) (company registered number 02260073) a company incorporated in England and Wales and whose registered office is at Waterside, Speedbird Way, Harmondsworth, United Kingdom UB7 0GB.
- To be eligible for this Offer, customers must be:
- at least 18 years old;
- be a member of the AerClub and accept its Terms and Conditions. For full details of the AerClub’s Terms and Conditions please visit https://www.aerlingus.com/aerclub/members-area/aerclub-terms-and-conditions/; and
- hold an active Uber and/or Uber Eats account (as applicable) and accept the Uber’s General Terms of Use (“Eligible Participants” or, in the singular, an “Eligible Participant”).
- In order to verify eligibility for the Offer as stated in clause 8, we reserve the right to require Eligible Participants to provide us with proof of age and identity.
- To earn Avios, Eligible Participants must link their Uber and/or Uber Eats account to their AerClub account in the Uber and/or Uber Eats app and select AerClub as their Preferred Reward program.

- Only one Uber and/or Uber Eats account and a linked AerClub account will be eligible to receive Avios. The holder of the accounts must be the same person and the names must match.
- Eligible Participants can earn one (1) Avios per £1/€1 of Qualifying Spend on each Eligible Use (as defined below) (the "Offer").
- “Eligible Use” means:
- a trip booked and completed via the Uber app; and
- a food and beverage order placed via Uber Eats, whether ordered through the Uber app or the Uber Eats app,
- For the purpose of this Offer, “Qualifying Spend” means:
- Uber trips: the upfront price of the trip after any promotions or discounts have been applied, including tolls and surcharges where applicable, but excluding tips and any miscellaneous or additional fees (such as cleaning fees); and
- Uber Eats orders (excludes grocery and retail; not available in Northern Ireland): the subtotal of the order before any promotions or discounts have been applied, excluding delivery fees, service fees, tips and any other additional charges. For Uber Eats orders placed in the UK, a minimum Qualify Spend of £25 per order is required to earn Avios. For example, a £25 order earns 25 Avios, but Uber Eats orders under £25 won’t earn any Avios.
- The Offer is valid on Eligible Uses completed within the UK and the Republic of Ireland. For Eurostar journeys, travel must include either a departure from or arrival in the UK.
- Eligible Use include Uber ride and mobility services and Uber Eats orders available through the Uber platform, subject to availability by location and time.
- Eligible Use may include the following Uber services (availability varies by city and time):
- UK: UberX, UberXL, Uber Assist, Uber Access, Uber Comfort, Uber Exec, Uber Lux, Uber Reserve, Uber Pet, Uber Green, Uber Boat, Lime e-bikes and scooters, Black Cab, Coach, Rail and Eurostar, and Uber Eats (excluding grocery and retail; not available in Northern Ireland).
- Republic of Ireland: Uber Taxi, Taxi XL, Uber Black, Taxi Max, Taxi Access, Uber Reserve, Uber Green.
- Uber Reserve is available in all cities in the Republic of Ireland and is available in selected locations within the UK and across certain Uber mobility categories, as follows:
- Greater London: UberX, UberXL, Uber Exec, Uber Lux

- South-West (incl Bristol and Bath): UberX, UberXL, Uber Exec

- Validated Avios will be awarded within 24 hours of the Eligible Use. Where a booking includes multiple Eligible Uses, Avios will be awarded within 24 hours of the final completed Eligible Use.
- If a booking includes multiple Eligible Uses (trips or orders) and the customer cancels one or more of them, the entire booking becomes ineligible for the Offer, and no Avios will be awarded for any of the uses in that booking.
- This Offer is non-transferable and cannot be used in conjunction with any other Avios-related offer or Uber and/or Uber Eats offer or promotion.
- Avios have no monetary value, are non‑transferable, and cannot be refunded nor exchanged.
- Please submit all claims for any missing Avios as soon as your booking is complete.

- Aer Lingus, Avios Group (AGL) Limited, Uber and/or Uber Eats reserve the right to terminate an Eligible Participant’s participation in this Offer if they believe such Eligible Participant is in breach of these Terms and Conditions, or if their use is deemed unauthorised, fraudulent, or otherwise unlawful.
- Aer Lingus, Avios Group (AGL) Limited, Uber, and/or Uber Eats reserve the right to withdraw this Offer or amend these Terms and Conditions, including Avios earn rates, without prior notice at any time, for whatever reason, and without any liability to Eligible Participants for doing so.

- By taking part in this Offer, Eligible Participants agree to the personal data they supply being used by Aer Lingus, AGL, Uber and/or Uber Eats or their agents or subcontractors for the sole purpose of administering this Offer as set out in AGL’s Privacy Policy, Aer Lingus’s Privacy Statement and Uber and/or Uber Eats’ Privacy Notice.
- Insofar as is permitted by law, Aer Lingus, AGL, Uber, and/or Uber Eats will not (and nor will our agents or distributors), in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate an Eligible Participant, accept any liability to an Eligible Participant (whether direct, indirect, special, incidental, exemplary, punitive or consequential) for any loss, damage, personal injury or death (other than caused by our negligence) arising out of or in connection with their participation in the Offer whether such liability arises from any claim based upon contract, warranty, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, and whether or not we (or our affiliates) have been advised of the possibility of such loss, damage, personal injury or death. Statutory rights of Eligible Participants are not affected.
- Any advertisements, banners or other promotional content related to the Offer will be read alongside these Terms.
- This Offer shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, but not exclusively if the Eligible Participant is a resident of the United Kingdom but outside England and Wales; then the courts of Scotland or Northern Ireland (depending on the Eligible Participant’s jurisdiction) also have jurisdiction. If the Eligible Participant is resident in the Republic of Ireland, then the courts of the Republic of Ireland also have jurisdiction.
- Aer Lingus, AGL, Uber, and/or Uber Eats do not assume any responsibility for any typographical or other error in the administration of the Offer.
- Aer Lingus, AGL, Uber, and/or Uber Eat’s collective decision regarding any aspect of the Offer is final and binding and we will not enter into correspondence with Eligible Participants (or their representatives) about it.
