| Track your car’s arrival in-app – there’s no need to go outside until your driver has arrived | |
| You can contact your driver through the app – Uber’s system anonymises your number so your contact details stay private | |
| Check your driver’s name, photo and registration plate matches the information you see in-app so you know you’re getting into the right car with the right driver | |
| Look for your driver’s Private Hire photo-badge and look for the Private Hire plate on the vehicle (which is normally next to the number plate) – all drivers are fully-licensed by their local authority, have undergone an enhanced criminal records check and are insured to carry passengers | |
| Travelling alone? ‘Share my ETA’ sends a live map to a friend so they know you’ve arrived safely | |
| Rate your driver after the trip – Uber uses this feedback to maintain the highest possible standards |
