- If a complaint is received about you or you have a complaint about a Rider or other driver, Uber will consider and look into this complaint and determine how to respond. In the event of a complaint against you, in some cases, your account will be temporarily put on hold (‘waitlisted’) whilst Uber is looking into the complaint and you will not be able to undertake trips. You will be advised if and when any temporary hold on your account is removed.
- If a complaint against you is upheld, you will be advised by Uber of the outcome of the same. This may include permanent closure of your account (‘deactivation’).
- If a decision has been taken by Uber to permanently close your account you will be notified by Uber.
- If you are dissatisfied by this or anything related to your account, please contact Uber Support or, where the option is available to you, use the Review Centre in the Driver App. Note that the option to use the Review Centre is only available in certain circumstances.
- Uber will review the details you provide and consider what action to take.
- Generally, the decision communicated to you by Uber will be final and no further action will be taken on your account.
- These points outline Uber’s general approach in these situations. Uber may decide to adopt a different approach where it considers it appropriate to do so.
