A simpler way to help maximise your payments
Make more money per delivery, when and where demand is expected to be high
Boost is a feature to help you position yourself in the best places at the best times.
With Boost, multipliers can be applied to your fare at peak times in specific areas. The busier the pickup area is expected to be, the higher the Boost. This means you will make more money per delivery when and where demand is expected to be high, and you will see the Boost applied to your fares in real time.
Plan where and when to deliver
Boost is a simpler way to help maximise your payments
No more waiting. You’ll see your Boost in every trip receipt.
See your Boost highlighted on the map. Whether you're online or offline, you can see the fare multiples for each zone in the UK. This helps you plan what area of the city to deliver in.
Want to know what the Boost will be in the coming days? Check the Promotions section of your app regularly to see what Boost multipliers are coming soon.
What is a boost zone?
Cities are split into different zones to help you position yourself in the best places at the best times.
In your app, you’ll see a Live Map that shows the current Boosts for each zone. The multipliers will change based on the time of day, and the day of the week, to help show you when and where it's expected to be busiest. You can see what Boost are coming up by checking the Promotions hub in your app.
How payments work
The Boost you receive depends on what Boost zone the pickup restaurant is located in.
If you pick up two orders from the same restaurant you will receive a Boost multiplier on both orders.
No more waiting! Your trip receipt will show the Boost promotion multiplier amount in real time.
For example, if your delivery fare is £6 and the Boost multiplier is 1.5x, your payment will reach: £6 x 1.5 = £9 (calculated before service fee, which is not applied to your boost).
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I get a Boost guaranteed multiplier promotion on all trips?
You will receive a Boost only when you pick up an order from a restaurant within a Boost zone, at the specified times when a Boost is active. Check the Promotions hub in your app to see when and where Boosts exist.
Where are the Boost Zones?
Boost zones may be anywhere in your city, but will typically be in busier areas where demand is expected to be higher. However, you may see higher Boosts in other areas such as zones that we have recently expanded into. Check your app to see where Boosts apply this week.

How are Boost fares paid?
With Boost, multipliers can be applied to your fare at peak times in specific areas.
Here is an example of how Boost fares are paid when the Boost guarantee is 2x:
- Example Boost: 2.5x
- Uber service fee: 25%
- Delivery fare: £6.00
- Fare guaranteed through Boost: £6 * 2.5 = £15
- Boost component: £15 - £6 = £9.00
Will Boost be subject to a service fee?
There is no service fee on the Boost component of your payment. In the previous example your total payment would be: £4.50 (fare after service fee) + £9.00 (Boost) = £13.50
