Driver requirements
To drive with Uber in Quebec City, you must get a driver's licence (Class 5 is now also accepted) and meet a few other requirements. Get the details.

Documents to keep in your car
City bylaw regulators may request rides at any time to conduct vehicle and document inspections.
Be sure to keep the following documents in your vehicle when driving with Uber:
- Driver's licence
- Vehicle registration
- Proof of insurance
Also, make sure to have any required Uber sticker(s) placed on your vehicle.
Training requirements
Quebec government regulations require drivers to complete the training to offer ridesharing services.
Currently, there are only two vocational training centers offering the training. Here are their requirements:
- $150 to register
- Have a computer to complete the training (not available on mobile)

Sticker requirements
Local regulations require now you to display 2 different stickers on your vehicle:
The Uber sticker must be displayed when you are driving with Uber. Place it on the bottom right side of the rear windshield. If you do not have an Uber sticker or need to replace yours, please click here.
A new government accessory (sticker) that will show that your vehicle is used for remunerated services. This accessory will be shortly mailed to you by the SAAQ. The accessory will cost you $17.40 which will be deducted from your earnings.
