Updates to the Planner experience coming soon
We are introducing changes to the Planner experience this month that can help you stay busy with new delivery zones. Here’s what’s changing:
Platinum and Diamond couriers have Unlimited Access to go online.
Week of September 1: You will be able to pick delivery zones when looking online times for the following week. Your access to Planner depends on your Uber Eats Pro status.
Week of September 8: As a Green and Gold status courier, you may go online once you’re in your booked zone or find other open zones.
Week of September 15: A new and simplified Planner design that will make it easy to book multiple zones, days and time slots in one go.
Coming week of September 1: Pick delivery zones when booking online times for the week
When new slots open during the week of September 1, you can select one or more delivery zones while choosing delivery dates and time slots for the upcoming week in Planner¹. Utilizing Planner to book online time gives you guaranteed access to go online during those times. Check the offline heatmap to learn about zone boundaries in your city.
Pro tip: If a zone is at capacity right now and you wish to go online in this zone at a later time, you can book time slots for that zone directly from the heatmap. Simply tap the zone icon and click “Choose times” to book time. You can also try booking in other available zones.
Coming week of September 8: As a Green and Gold courier, you may go online once you’re in your booked zone or find other open zones
Soon, you will need to be in your selected delivery zone if you wish to go online during your booked time slots. Once you go online in your booked delivery zone, you will have guaranteed access to stay online for that duration and will start seeing trip requests, based on the real-time demand in that zone. You can deliver across the city once online, including areas outside of your booked zone.
Green and Gold couriers who wish to go online outside of their reserved time or zones can use the offline heatmap to find busy zones that are open². Platinum and Diamond couriers have Unlimited Access to go online, including in zones colored Grey.
Coming week of September 15: Customize your week with the new Planner design
We are introducing updates to the Planner design that will make it easier to select your preferred delivery zones, days of the week, and time slots. With this new experience, you will be able to filter days and times based on the delivery zones of your choice and see times that are available for you to book.
How Planner Works
Planner is a scheduling tool that helps you stay busier when you’re online and ensures customers get reliable deliveries.
Your access to Planner is dependent on your Uber Eats Pro status which is based on these key criteria: acceptance rate, cancellation rate, satisfaction rate, and points you accrue monthly. To check your current status, go to the Pro hub in your Driver app.
Uber Eats Pro Eligibility Criteria³
Here’s a look at the current Uber Eats Pro criteria and access to Planner:

¹Some cities may only have only one delivery zone. During booked times, couriers have guaranteed access to go online.
²Outside of booked times, Green and Gold couriers will only be able to go online when in areas where demand is high enough. If the demand is high enough, you will see the Go button on your Driver app homescreen and can go online.
