Introducing the reimagined Uber Eats Pro in California

We hear you: when it’s slow, it can feel like you’re just waiting around instead of earning. That’s why, starting May 18 we’ve started rolling out our reimagined Uber Eats Pro¹ in select cities across California. Get ready for more earning opportunities and greater flexibility as you move up tiers, with our updated rewards program.

Updated requirements that reward your reliability:

Here’s a look at the updated requirements for each tier so you know what’s needed to qualify when the program launches:

Green:

  • No requirements

Gold:

  • Acceptance rate: 30% or higher
  • On-time rate: 80% or higher
  • Cancellation rate: 8% or lower
  • Satisfaction rating: 90% or higher
  • Points: 15

Platinum:

  • Acceptance rate: 50% or higher
  • On-time rate: 90% or higher
  • Cancellation rate: 5% or lower
  • Satisfaction rating: 92% or higher
  • Points: 50

Diamond:

  • Acceptance rate: 50% or higher
  • On-time rate: 90% or higher
  • Cancellation rate: 5% or lower
  • Satisfaction rating: 92% or higher
  • Points: 400/600 (depending on your city)

Minimize downtime by planning ahead

Planner lets you reserve when and where to go online, ahead of time.

  • Green and Gold couriers can reserve times a week ahead and get guaranteed access to go online.
  • Platinum and Diamond couriers can go online anytime, anywhere. No need to use Planner.

Find busy areas faster with a new heatmap

A new offline heatmap will show busy zones in your city and where you can go online without a reservation.

  • Zones are colored red, orange, or yellow, based on real-time demand. A gray zone means it's unavailable. The busier the zone, the greater the likelihood you can go online without a reservation.
  • Platinum or Diamond couriers can go online in any zone at all times, without needing a reservation in Planner.
  • The heatmap colors update every 10 minutes to give you the most up to date information.
  • Once online, you can use the online delivery heatmap to see the busiest areas within the delivery zone.

A redesigned, easy-to-use hub that helps you track your progress, explore rewards, and see how close you are to reaching your next tier.

Gold rewards:
  • Preferred Deliveries: get prioritized for high-paying deliveries over Green.² 
  • Advance Booking: reserve time slot(s) 24 hours before Green with early access to Planner
  • Priority Access: when it’s busy, you have priority over Green to go online without a reservation
Platinum & Diamond rewards:
  • Preferred Deliveries: get prioritized for higher-paying deliveries over Green and Gold.²
  • Unlimited Access:  go online anytime, anywhere. No reservation needed.
Exclusive Diamond reward:
  • Premium Support: enjoy quick help from top trained Support agents.

¹This program is applicable in select cities. Uber reserves the right to change or terminate this program at any time.

²Gold, Platinum, and Diamond couriers get priority access to higher-paying Uber Eats restaurant deliveries as compared to Green couriers. The determination of higher paying deliveries is based on expected payment as determined at the time the customer places the order (and is inclusive of tip designated by the customer at time order is placed). Priority access is not a guarantee of higher earnings or the amount of delivery requests eligible couriers will receive. Tips are subject to customer discretion. Restaurant deliveries made via channels other than Uber Eats (e.g., Uber Direct) and non restaurant deliveries (e.g., grocery orders) are excluded from Preferred Deliveries.
