Helping to build the future of Uber

Whether you’re getting people to the places they need to be or helping them get home safely, as a driver-partner, you help keep your communities moving. And you know the day-to-day of driving on the Uber app better than anyone.

Launched in 2021, together with RPS Group, the Advisory Forums allow members of the driver-partner community to give feedback and share ideas how we can make Uber the best platform to earn with in Australia.

In 2025–2026, there will again be four forums over two years. Advisors will have an opportunity to give feedback, share their ideas for solutions and advocate for the interests of their fellow driver-partners. Advisors help shape the topics discussed, to make sure we’re focusing on the things that matter most to you.

    Meet your advisors for 2025–2026

Advisors have been selected by RPS Group from over 2100+ submissions to represent the diverse voices of the driver-partners driving with the Uber app.

*Quotes from the advisors have been edited for brevity and clarity.

    • Michael, Ballarat

'After over five years driving with Uber and considering my perspective as an older driver, I believe I have a lot to offer.'

    • Dogan, Gold Coast

      '

'I applied to be an advisor because I wanted to share my experience and help make things better for drivers.'

    • Lynca, Brisbane

‘I applied to be an Uber Advisor so I can express myself – what we go through as driver-partners and want to take this opportunity to be heard.’

    • Terry, Wollongong

    • Ashwin, Sydney

‘I applied to be an advisor to understand the how Uber works for driver-partners and riders.’

    • Alexandra, Melbourne

'One of my main goals to be part of the Advisory Forum is Women Representation as Uber drivers and safety. There is a low number of women driver-partners in Australia. Woman riders prefer to have women driver-partners because we all deserve to feel safe and well presented in all areas of our lives.'

    • Saye, Melbourne

'I applied to be an Uber advisor so that I as an driver-partner myself, who has been driving Uber for almost ten years, can help advocate on behalf of all Australian Uber driver-partners.'

    • Zeeshan, Perth

'The reason why I applied to be an advisor because I want to share the real problems that driver-partners encounter while driving with Uber. By bringing these challenges to light, I hope Uber can take steps to improve the platform and make it better for all drivers.'

    • Ruth, Sydney

'I have been driving for Uber for a long time and I also wanted to be heard on some of the things that I think Uber should know.'

    • Santhana, Adelaide

'I applied to be an advisor to share my experience and issues to make Uber driving a joy and fun working option. Uber has an excellent platform.'

    • Qasim, Canberra

'I’m excited to be part of the Advisory Forums and contribute to the growth of the driver-partner community. I applied to become an advisor because I want to help shape the future of the platform, offer valuable insights from a driver-partner perspective, and collaborate with others to make Uber a better experience for everyone in Australia.'

    • Terrence, Launceston

'’ve become an advisor to hopefully help improve Uber driver-partner experiences in their every day activities.

If I can make a positive difference and be a support in some way to all driver-partners not just in my region but across Australia, then it’s been worth it.'

    • Bibek, Darwin

I applied to become an advisor because I'm passionate about representing the interests of driver-partners and making sure our feedback leads to positive changes. Also I wanted to hear the issues other driver-partners were facing and suggestions to fix those issues in different cities in Australia.

Answer the Have Your Say Survey

As someone who drives with the Uber app, you have unique experiences and insights which can help shape the future of driving with Uber.

Before each forum, we invite driver partners to share their feedback on the topics chosen by Advisors through the 'Have Your Say' survey. Advisors have access to all the comments to help them best represent you and others at the forum.

You will be notified via email or your in-app inbox when the survey opens.

Book time with Advisors through 'Open Hours'

Before the start of the second, third and fourth forum, Advisors (together with RPS Group) host 'Open Hours' sessions.

These are short feedback sessions with driver partners like you to help them understand the challenges you face and advocate for solutions.

Slots are subject to limited availability so book your session early if you’d like to participate. RPS Group will send you instructions and reminders in the lead up to each booking.

You will be notified when bookings open.
