How to sign up and link accounts

Step 1: You must be an AerClub member

  • If you aren’t an AerClub member, you can join for free today.

Step 2: Scan this QR code on your phone

  • If you already have the Uber app, this QR code will lead you to the account-linking page in the app.
  • If you don’t have the Uber app, this QR code will lead you to download the Uber app in the App Store or on Google Play.

Step 3: Open your account settings

In the Account section of the Uber app, choose Settings, then scroll down to Rewards and choose AerClub. On the next screen, select Link account.

Step 4: Link your accounts

Follow the instructions on the account-linking page. Now you’re ready to start collecting Avios with Uber.

Frequently asked questions

  • To collect Avios with AerClub, you must have AerClub and Uber accounts and link them. Both are free to sign up. After being linked, you’ll collect 1 Avios per €1 spent on Uber trips in Ireland and £1 spent on Uber trips, trains, coaches, boats, and 2-wheels in the UK. Avios collected is based on the price of the qualifying ride, excluding tips and any miscellaneous fees such as cleaning charges. Terms and conditions apply.*

  • You can link your accounts by following the instructions in the Uber app (go to the steps above). Or you can visit AerLingus.com for more information. If you’re not already a member of AerClub, you’ll need to sign up and create an account before you can link it to your Uber account.

  • Only one Uber account can be linked to one AerClub account, and the accounts must belong to the same person. Accounts can be unlinked at any time, after which you’ll no longer be able to collect Avios with AerClub.

  • You’ll receive a success message in the Uber app after the accounts have been linked.

  • You can collect Avios with other Avios collection partners. Visit AerLingus.com to view a list of partners.

  • No, you can earn Avios on any qualifying trips taken within the Republic of Ireland or the UK, regardless of the amount you spend.

  • Your Avios will be awarded up to 24 hours after you complete your qualifying trip. Retrospective claims are not permitted; you must have linked your Uber account to your AerClub account before taking the ride.

  • If there’s a bonus promotion, Avios will be awarded according to the terms and conditions of that promotion’s offer.

  • If you’re missing Avios, please allow 24 hours from the conclusion of your ride for them to be awarded. If you’re still missing them after that time, please contact Uber through the Help section in the app to investigate whether your accounts were linked, you’ve taken a qualifying ride, and that the time to award has passed. If the Avios are missing and you’ve met all the criteria, Uber will raise a missing Avios request with AerClub and the Avios will be awarded within 14 days.

  • You can link to both programs, but you’ll need to choose which partner you want to collect with by making them your Earning Partner in the Uber app. You can only collect Avios with one loyalty partner at a time. Find out more here.

  1.   2. To be eligible for this Offer, customers must be at least 18 years old, be an AerClub member and hold an active Uber account (“Eligible Participants” or, in the singular, an “Eligible Participant”).
  3. In order to verify eligibility for the Offer, we might require that an Eligible Participant provide us with proof of age and identity.
  4. To earn Avios, Eligible Participants must link their Uber account to their AerClub account in the Uber app and select AerClub as their Preferred Reward program.

  6. Only one Uber account can be linked to an AerClub account and the holder of the accounts must be the same person.
  7. Standard Avios earn rate is 1 Avios per €1 of Qualifying Spend (see what qualifies in point 8 below) for trips booked and completed via the Uber app within the Republic of Ireland and 1 Avios per £1 of Qualifying Spend for trips booked and completed via the Uber app within the UK (the “Offer”).
  8. Qualifying Spend is the upfront price of the Eligible Trip (see clause 10) after any promotion or discount has been applied, and where applicable, will include tolls, surcharges and fees. Exclusions to Qualifying Spend are tips and any miscellaneous fees such as cleaning fees.
  9. Offer is valid for rides taken in the Republic of Ireland, mainland UK and Northern Ireland. Avios earn rate applies to completed trips with a departure and destination within Republic of Ireland, mainland UK or Northern Ireland (with the exception of Eurostar trips which must have a UK departure or UK arrival).
  10. “Eligible Trips” include: 

    a. within the Republic of Ireland:  Uber Taxi, Taxi XL, Uber Black, Taxi Max, Taxi Access, Uber Reserve, Uber Green. 
    b. within the UK: UberX, UberXL, Uber Assist, Uber Access, Uber Comfort, Uber Exec, Uber Lux, Uber Reserve, Uber Pet, Uber Green, Uber Boat, Lime e-bikes and scooters, Black Cab, Coach, Rail and Eurostar.

  11. Avios will be awarded within 24 hours of the completed Eligible Trip, or where a booking consists of multiple Eligible Trips trips, within 24 hours of the last Eligible Trip on the booking.
  12. Notwithstanding anything else in these Terms and Conditions, where a booking consists of multiple EligibleTrips and one or more of those  Eligible Trips is cancelled by the customer, the customer will cease to be considered an Eligible Participant for any part of that booking and will therefore no longer qualify for the Offer with respect to any of the Eligible Trips on that booking.
  13. Avios can only be applied and awarded to an AerClub account once.
  14. This Offer is non-transferable and cannot be used in conjunction with any other Avios-related offer or Uber offer or promotion.
  15. This Offer is promotional and any Avios points covered  by this Offer do not have any monetary value as between an Eligible Participant and Uber. Avios points covered by this Offer are non-transferrable and cannot be exchanged, including for cash. 
  16. Retrospective claims for Avios are not permitted.

  18. Aer Lingus, AGL, and Uber reserve the right to terminate an Eligible Participant’s participation in this Offer if they believe such Eligible Participant is in breach of these Terms and Conditions, or if their use is deemed unauthorised, fraudulent, or otherwise unlawful.
  19. Aer Lingus, AGL and Uber reserve the right to withdraw this Offer or amend these Terms and Conditions, including Avios earn rates, without prior notice at any time, for whatever reason, and without any liability to Eligible Participants for doing so.

If the Eligible Participant is resident in the Republic of Ireland, then the courts of the Republic of Ireland also have jurisdiction.
  26. Aer Lingus, AGL and Uber do not assume any responsibility for any typographical or other error in the administration of the Offer.
  27. Aer Lingus, AGL and Uber’s collective decision regarding any aspect of the Offer is final and binding and we will not enter into correspondence with Eligible Participants (or their representatives) about it.

  1. Eligibility and Participation

1. The following terms and conditions (the “Terms”) shall exclusively apply to the Uber prize promotion (the “Promotion”) within the Republic of Ireland (“RoI”) for the duration of the Promotion Period, unless otherwise specified in the Promotion marketing.
2. This Promotion is jointly provided by (1) Uber Ireland Technologies Limited, a company incorporated in Ireland (company number 529509) whose registered office is at 47 Thomas Street, Third Floor, Limerick, V94 P8CK, Ireland (“Uber”); and (2) Avios Group (AGL) Limited (“AGL”) (company registered number 02260073) a company incorporated in England and Wales and whose registered office is at Waterside, Speedbird Way, Harmondsworth, United Kingdom UB7

5. The Promotion is offering individuals a chance to win one hundred thousand Avios (“100,000”) each week (each a “Prize”) during the Promotional Period. For avoidance of doubt, there will be a total of four (4) Prizes. Entry into the Promotion is automatically available to those who either already have a valid Uber rider account successfully linked to an AerClub account, or who link their Uber account with an AerClub account during the Promotional Period (“Eligibility Criteria”).
6. A maximum of one (1) entry per week will be awarded per person based on the successful linkage on the Uber Account and AerClub account, regardless of how many times the accounts may be linked or re-linked.
7. In order to verify the eligibility for the Promotion, we reserve the right to require the Rider to provide us with proof of age and identity.
8. This Promotion does not apply to employee or immediate family member (parent, spouse, partner, sibling, or child) of: (a) Uber; AerClub and AGL (or any of its affiliate companies, including for example British Airways) or (b) any of Uber; AerClub and AGL's agencies, partners or contractors that have worked directly on developing this Promotion or the administration of this Promotion.

2. Promotional period and winner notification:
1. The promotion period will open on 1 December 2025 at 00:01 GMT and will close on 28 December 2025 at 23:59 GMT (“Promotional Period”).
2. Winners will be announced and contacted at the end of the Promotional Period via EMAIL (using the details provided in your Uber account). A total of four (4) winners will be announced at the end of the Promotional Period.
3. The Prize available to be awarded as part of this Promotion can only be applied to an AerClub account once. This means if you win a Prize one week, you will not be eligible to win a Prize in the following week(s).
4. The Prize shall be awarded to the winner within 30 days of receipt from the end of the Promotional Period, provided that the winner has supplied all the necessary information required by the Promoter for the transfer of the Prize. The Prize will be awarded in the form of one hundred thousand (“100,000”) Avios to your Uber-linked AerClub account.

3. Promotion Details:
1. The Rider who meets the Eligibility Criteria within the Republic of Ireland during the Promotion Period shall be eligible to win the following (the “Prize”):
1. Each week, one hundred thousand (“100,000”) Avios will be awarded, totalling four (“400,000”) hundred thousand Avios for the entire Promotional Period. The Avios will be credited to the Rider’s AerClub account, which is linked to their Uber Account.
2. The winning Riders, being in compliance with clause 3 will automatically qualify for the Prize.
3. The winners will be chosen by random draft performed by a computer process at the end of the Promotional Period.
4. The winners will be notified by email (using the contact details associated with your Uber Account).
5. The winners consent to the use by the Promoter, AGL and/or AerClub both during and for a period of five years after the end of the promotional period, of the winners’ photographs, quotes, names, voices and images for publicity purposes (in any medium, including still photographs and films, and on the internet, including any websites and social media accounts hosted by the Promoter) and in advertising, marketing or promotional material without additional compensation or prior notice and, in entering the competition, all rider’s consent to the same.
6. The Promoter may need to provide the winner’s information and details of the winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority for Ireland on request.

4. General:
1. The Promoter does not assume any responsibility for any typographical or other error in the administration of the Promotion. / 2. The Prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and may not redeemed for cash. Each Prize, once provided to the winners, is the responsibility of the winners and if lost or damaged or if the winners fails to use their Prizes in time, will not be replaced by the Promoter.
3. The decisions of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the Promotion are final and binding.

6. The Rider are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions upon participation in the Promotion.
7. Any Rider who breach these Terms, provides fraudulent information, or otherwise acts in a manner deemed unfair by Uber may have their participation revoked at the sole discretion of Uber. The Promoter reserve the right to refuse participation in the Promotion to anyone in breach of these Terms.
8. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate a participator, accept any liability (whether direct, indirect, special, incidental, exemplary, punitive or consequential) for any loss, damage, personal injury or death arising out of or in connection with any rider’s participation in the Promotion whether such liability arises from any claim based upon contract, warranty, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, and whether or not the Promoter or its affiliates have been advised of the possibility of such loss, damage, personal injury or death. Your statutory rights are not affected. Any liability of the Promoter arising in connection with the Promotion shall be several, and the Promoter accepts no joint and several liability in connection with the Promotion.

By taking part in this Promotion, The Rider agree to the personal data they supply being used by Uber, AGL and/or AerClub or their agents or subcontractors for the sole purpose of administering this Promotion as set out in the Promoter's Privacy (Policy), AGL's Privacy Policy and/or AerClub’s Privacy Statement.
10. The Promoter reserves the right to modify and amend these Terms from time to time during the Promotion period without prior notice.
11. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision, or part thereof, of these Terms will not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision or part thereof. In the event that any provision, or part thereof, of these Terms is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, the other provisions, or parts thereof, will remain in effect and will be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein. Promoter’s failure to enforce any term of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of that term or any other provision of these Terms.In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in the Promotion–related materials and these Terms, these Terms shall prevail, govern and control and the discrepancy will be resolved in Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion.
