How to sign up and link accounts
Step 1: You must be a member of The British Airways Club
If you aren’t a British Airways Club member, you can join for free today.
Step 2: Scan this QR Code on your phone
If you already have the Uber or Uber Eats app, this QR code will lead you to the settings page in the app.
If you do not have the Uber or Uber Eats app, this QR code will lead you to download the Uber or Uber Eats app in the App Store or Google Play Store.
Step 3: Open your account settings
In the Account section of the Uber app, choose Settings, then scroll down to Rewards and choose The British Airways Club. On the next screen, select Link account.
Step 4: Link your accounts
Follow the instructions on the account-linking page. Now you’re ready to start collecting Avios with Uber and Uber Eats.
Another way to collect Avios

Frequently asked questions
- How does it work?
To collect Avios, you must have both a The British Airways Club and an Uber or Uber Eats account. If you do not have an account, you can easily sign up for free.
You can collect Avios on qualifying Uber Eats orders in the UK or Republic of Ireland. The minimum spend is £25/€25 per order, excluding fees, taxes, and other charges. Available only where Uber operates for eligible stores. Additional and optional fees may be charged for Priority Delivery and Long Range Delivery. Subject to change.
You will collect 1 Avios per £1/€1 spent on the price of the qualifying ride, excluding tips and any miscellaneous fees such as cleaning charges.
The Uber ride and/or Uber Eats order must take place within the UK or Republic of Ireland.

- How do I link my account?
You must have linked your British Airways Club and Uber or Uber Eats accounts by following the steps outlined on this page above on the Uber or Uber Eats app.
- How many accounts can I link to?
Only one Uber or Uber Eats account can be linked to one British Airways Club account and the accounts must belong to the same person. Accounts can be de-linked at any time, after which you will no longer be able to collect Avios.
- How will I know my accounts have been successfully linked?
You will receive a success message within the Uber or Uber Eats app once you have linked.
- I am a member of a British Airways Club Household account; can I still link to an Uber account?
Yes, each individual British Airways Club member can link to their Uber or Uber Eats account. Only one British Airways Club account can be linked to one Uber or Uber Eats account.
- Where else can I collect Avios?
You can collect Avios with any other Avios collection partner, visit avios.com for collection partners.
- Is there a minimum/maximum spend?
You can collect Avios on any qualifying trip taken within the UK or Republic of Ireland. There is no minimum or maximum spend for Uber rides.
You can collect Avios on qualifying Uber Eats orders in the UK or Republic of Ireland. The minimum spend is £25/€25 per order, excluding fees, taxes, and other charges.
- When will my Avios be awarded?
Your Avios will be awarded within 24 hours of completing your qualifying ride or placing your qualifying order. Retrospective claims are not permitted, you must have linked your Uber or Uber Eats account to your British Airways Club account before taking the ride or placing the order.
- Why am I missing Avios from a journey I took with Uber or an order I placed with Uber Eats?
This could likely be that you are a British Airways Registered Customer rather than being a British Airways Club member. If you are a registered customer, you will not have a British Airways Club account number, but you will have login credentials for ba.com. When you sign in on ba.com and go to the “my account” section, you will see an option to convert to a British Airways Club account which will enable you to start collecting Avios.
If you are missing Avios from a journey you took with Uber, please allow 24 hours from taking the ride for them to be awarded. If you are missing Avios from an order you placed with Uber Eats, you may not have spent a minimum of £25/€25 on your order. If you spent £25/€25+ on your order excluding fees, taxes, and other charges, please allow 24 hours from placing the order for them to be awarded.
If you are still missing Avios after 24 hours from taking the ride or placing the qualifying order, please contact Uber via the help section of the app, who will be able to investigate this.
You must speak to Uber first as Uber can check that your accounts were linked, you have taken a qualifying ride or placed a qualifying order, and that the time to award has passed. If the Avios are missing, Uber will raise a missing Avios request with British Airways and the Avios will be awarded within 14 days.
- Can I collect Avios with both The British Airways Club and AerClub on my Uber rides and Uber Eats orders?
You can link to both programs, but you’ll need to choose which partner you want to collect with by making them your Earning Partner in the Uber or Uber Eats app. You can only collect Avios with one loyalty partner at a time. Find out more here.

- This Offer is jointly provided by (1) Uber London Limited (“Uber”) a company incorporated in England and Wales and whose registered office is at Aldgate Tower - First Floor, 2 Leman Street, E1 8FA, London; (2) Uber Eats UK Limited (“Uber Eats”) a company incorporated in England and Wales and whose registered office is at Aldgate Tower - First Floor, 2 Leman Street, E1 8FA, London; and (3) Avios Group (AGL) Limited (“AGL”) (company registered number 02260073) a company incorporated in England and Wales and whose registered office is at Waterside, Speedbird Way, Harmondsworth, United Kingdom UB7 0GB.
- To be eligible for this Offer, customers must be
- at least 18 years old;
- be a Member of the British Airways Club (“BAC”) and accept its Terms and Conditions. For full details of the BAC’s Terms and Conditions please visit https://www.britishairways.com/content/the-british-airways-club/about-the-club/terms-and-conditions; and
- hold a valid Uber and/or Uber Eats account (as applicable) and accept the Uber’s General Terms of Use (collectively referred to as “Eligible Participants” or in the singular, an "Eligible Participant”).
- In order to verify eligibility for the Offer as stated in clause 8, we reserve the right to require Eligible Participants to provide us with proof of age and identity.
- To earn Avios, Eligible Participants must link their Uber and/or Uber Eats account to their British Airways Club account in the Uber and/or Uber Eats app and select the British Airways Club as their Preferred Reward program.
- To participate in this Offer Eligible Participants must confirm and accept these Terms and Conditions as well as AGL’s Terms and Conditions. For full details please visit https://www.avios.com/en-GB/terms-and-conditions.
- Only one Uber and/or Uber Eats account and a linked BAC account will be eligible to receive Avios. The holder of the accounts must be the same person and the names must match.
- Eligible Participants can earn one (1) Avios per £1/€1 of Qualifying Spend on each Eligible Use (defined below) (the "Offer").
- “Eligible Use” means:
- a trip booked and completed via the Uber app; and
- a food and beverage order placed via Uber Eats, whether ordered through the Uber app or the Uber Eats app,
- For the purpose of this Offer, “Qualifying Spend” means:
- Uber trips: the upfront price of the trip after any promotions or discounts have been applied, including tolls and surcharges where applicable, but excluding tips and any miscellaneous or additional fees (such as cleaning fees); and
- Uber Eats orders (excludes grocery and retail; not available in Northern Ireland): the subtotal of the order before any promotions or discounts have been applied, excluding delivery fees, service fees, tips and any other additional charges. For Uber Eats orders placed in the UK, a minimum Qualify Spend of £25 per order is required to earn Avios. For example, a £25 order earns 25 Avios, but Uber Eats orders under £25 won’t earn any Avios.
- The Offer is valid on Eligible Uses completed within the UK. For Eurostar journeys, travel must include either a departure from or arrival in the UK.
- Eligible Use include Uber ride and mobility services and Uber Eats orders available through the Uber platform, subject to availability by location and time.
- Eligible Use may include the following Uber services (availability varies by city and time):
- UK: UberX, UberXL, Uber Assist, Uber Access, Uber Comfort, Uber Exec, Uber Lux, Uber Reserve, Uber Pet, Uber Green, Uber Boat, Lime e-bikes and scooters, Black Cab, Coach, Rail and Eurostar, and Uber Eats (excluding grocery and retail; not available in Northern Ireland).
- Republic of Ireland: Uber Taxi, Taxi XL, Uber Black, Taxi Max, Taxi Access, Uber Reserve, Uber Green.
- Uber Reserve is available in all cities in the Republic of Ireland and is available in selected locations within the UK and across certain Uber mobility categories, as follows:
- Greater London: UberX, UberXL, Uber Exec, Uber Lux
- Manchester: UberX, UberXL, Uber Exec
- South-West (incl Bristol and Bath): UberX, UberXL, Uber Exec
- Birmingham: UberX, UberXL, Uber Comfort, Uber Exec
- Leeds: UberX
- Leicester: UberX.
- Merseyside (primarily Liverpool): UberX

- Validated Avios will be awarded within 24 hours of the Eligible Use. Where a booking includes multiple Eligible Uses, Avios will be awarded within 24 hours of the final completed Eligible Use.
- If a booking includes multiple Eligible Uses (trips or orders) and the customer cancels one or more of them, the entire booking becomes ineligible for the Offer, and no Avios will be awarded for any of the uses in that booking.
- This Offer is non-transferable and cannot be used in conjunction with any other Avios related offer or Uber and/or Uber Eats offer or promotion.
- Avios have no monetary value, are non‑transferable, and cannot be refunded nor exchanged.
- Please submit all claims for any missing Avios as soon as your booking is complete.
- For missing Avios queries please contact Uber and/or Uber Eats via the help section of the app or visit uber.com.
- Avios Group (AGL) Limited, British Airways, Uber, and/or UberEats reserve the right to terminate an Eligible Participant’s participation in this Offer if they believe such Eligible Participant is in breach of these Terms and Conditions, or if their use is unauthorised, fraudulent, or otherwise unlawful.
- Avios Group (AGL) Limited, British Airways, Uber and/or Uber Eats reserve the right to withdraw this Offer or amend these Terms and Conditions, including Avios earn rates, without prior notice at any time, for whatever reason, and without any liability to Eligible Participants for doing so.

- By taking part in this Offer, Eligible Participants agree to the personal data they supply being used by AGL, British Airways, Uber and/or Uber Eats or their agents or subcontractors for the sole purpose of administering this Offer as set out in AGL’s Privacy Policy, British Airways’ Privacy Policy and Uber and/or Uber Eats’ Privacy Notice.
- AGL reserves the right to withdraw the promotion or amend these Terms and Conditions without prior notice at any time, for whatever reason, and without any liability to customers for doing so.
- Insofar as is permitted by law, British Airways, AGL, Uber and/or Uber Eats will not (and nor will our agents or distributors), in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate an Eligible Participant, accept any liability to and Eligible Participant (whether direct, indirect, special, incidental, exemplary, punitive or consequential) for any loss, damage, personal injury or death arising out of or in connection with their participation in the Offer whether such liability arises from any claim based upon contract, warranty, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, and whether or not we (or our affiliates) have been advised of the possibility of such loss, damage, personal injury or death. Statutory rights of Eligible Participants are not affected.
- Any advertisements, banners or other promotional content related to the Offer will be read alongside these Terms.
- This Offer shall be governed by the laws of England & Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, but not exclusively if the Eligible Participant is a resident of the United Kingdom but outside England and Wales; then the courts of Scotland or Northern Ireland (depending on the Eligible Participant’s jurisdiction) also have jurisdiction. If the Eligible Participant is resident in the Republic of Ireland, then the courts of the Republic of Ireland also have jurisdiction.
- British Airways, Avios Group (AGL) Limited, Uber and/or Uber Eats do not assume any responsibility for any typographical or other error in the administration of the Offer.
- British Airways, Avios Group (AGL) Limited, Uber and/or UberEats’s collective decision regarding any aspect of the Offer is final and binding and we will not enter into correspondence with Eligible Participants (or their representatives) about it.
