Events can present increased challenges for both drop offs and pickups, so it is important to keep a few things in mind to ensure everyone is safe and happy!
- Keep an eye out for designated drop off areas at larger events
- Make sure you pull over only where it is safe and legal to do so
- Let the riders know that the trip may take a little longer than usual due to traffic and potential road closures
- Pay extra attention to pedestrians and other traffic as the areas are likely to be busy with event goers
- Riders will be extra appreciative after a long day or night at the event if you have your car stocked with mints and water
- Most of all try and ask the rider about the event! It is a great way to start up a conversation and can create an awesome trip experience for you both – you may even be convinced to purchase tickets yourself!
