We’re updating points requirements and peak hours, eligibility thresholds, and adding more rewards for Diamond driver-partners.

Uber Pro is getting an update across Australia and New Zealand in November 2026.

We’re updating points requirements, eligibility thresholds, and adding more rewards for Diamond driver-partners.

See the updates below, coming next month.

More perks for Diamond

Diamond driver-partners will get access to extra benefits designed to recognise their contribution.

Airport Queue Priority: Introducing Airport Queue Priority. This reward allows Diamond driver-partners in selected cities to get priority matching when entering the virtual queue without the need to complete an airport drop off. Airport Queue Priority doesn’t apply to Uber Reserve trips. This will replace the airport priority rematch reward.1

Airport Queue Priority currently applies to Diamond driver-partners who mainly drive in Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Gold Coast, Canberra, Newcastle, Geelong, Hobart, Darwin, Cairns, Sunshine Coast, Townsville, Whitsundays, Byron Bay, Launceston, Mackay, Rockhampton.

Complimentary Uber One Membership: Diamond earners can redeem a complimentary three-month Uber One membership each time they reach Diamond via the Pro Rewards Hub. This gives them access to offers and rewards exclusive to Uber One members, including Rides and Uber Eats orders.2

We’re updating eligibility requirements

We’re also updating how you earn points and move up through Uber Pro.

Updated points requirements

The points requirements are changing. Please check your email or in-app messages for more info. You’ll find more details in the Uber Pro Hub once the updates are live.

Updated eligibility requirements

While most eligibility requirements are staying the same, the following are being updated:

  • To reach Gold, you’ll now only need a cancellation rate of 4% or less.
  • To reach Diamond, you’ll need a star rating of 4.90 or higher.3

More peak hours to earn 3x points

We’re increasing the total number of peak hours to give you more chances to earn Uber Pro points when demand is high. See the updated peak times below.

You’ll still earn 1 point per trip during off-peak hours, but now you’ll earn 3 points per trip during peak hours.

You’ll keep the points you earn from the new Uber Pro cycle, starting 1 November 2026.
