Join a taxi company in Austria
If you do not have a taxi company, you can still use the Uber app as a driver. In this case you are employed by a licensed taxi company. You cannot drive with your private car. Let's get started!

Which documents do drivers need?
Please note that scans or copies cannot be accepted. Please click on ">" to see all documents needed.
Valid driver's license
For EEA driving licenses outside Austria, drivers additionally need their registration form. Please note that your driving license should not be issued less than 6 months ago.
Valid photo ID
Taxi license
Only owners of a valid taxi license are allowed to offer rides through the Uber app in Austria.
You already have an Uber account
Step 1
Open help.uber.com in a browser or tap on "help" in the menu of your Uber driver app.
Step 2
Follow the following articles: "Help > Account and payment > Managing drivers and fleet partners > I want to switch my Fleet Partner"
Step 3
Fill in all information needed. Check that this information is correct, otherwise your profile cannot be switched to your new fleet partner.
Step 4
It can take up to 24 hours on business days. There can be delays on weekends or holidays. Your new fleet partner does not need to contact the support.
