Pickup at Denver International Airport (DEN)

Open your app to request a ride

When you’re ready, open the Uber app to request a ride to your destination. Choose the Denver Airport transportation option that suits your group size and luggage needs.

Follow signs for the Denver Rideshare pickup areas to either the East or West side of the central terminal.

Exit the Terminal

You’ll get directions about DEN pickup points directly in the app.

Riders requesting UberX, UberXL, or Comfort can meet their driver on level 5 at island 5. Follow signs for “Ride App Pick-up.”

Riders requesting Uber Black or SUV can meet their driver on level 5 at island 2.

Passengers with accessibility needs may be picked up curbside on Level 5 outside doors 505/505 and 511/513 (East side) or doors 504/506 and 510/512 (West side). Select the “Accessible Pickups” option in the selector menu and communicate your need to your driver.

Confirm your location

Select your terminal and Denver airport pickup location as specified by the app. Please note: this location may not always be at your nearest exit.

Your driver’s name, license plate, and car color will show in the app. Verify your ride before you get in. If you can’t find your driver, contact them through the app.

Select the “Accessible Pickups” option in the selector menu when booking your ride.

    You may also call or message your driver to request an accessible pickup. Inform your driver of your door location and side of the terminal for a seamless pickup.

Denver International Airport (DEN) serves metropolitan Denver, Colorado, and is the 20th-busiest airport in the world and the 5th-busiest in the US. It is located about 25 miles (40 kilometers) northeast of downtown Denver, a drive that takes about 30 minutes in ideal road and traffic conditions.

Denver Airport’s international flights depart and arrive from Concourse A. Concourse A has 38 gates serving 26 international destinations.

Getting around Denver Airport

DEN Airport transportation is provided by its own subway system called the Automated Guideway Transit System (AGTS). The AGTS links Jeppesen Terminal with the A, B, and C concourses and gates—in fact, it’s the only way to access Concourses B and C. Four stations serve the concourses and main terminal building.

There are many Denver Airport activities available to travelers, including a spa on Concourse C and Denver Airport massage and reflexology treatments on Concourses A and B. Additionally, 92 places to shop include electronics, gift, candy, and jewelry stores. Denver International Airport also runs an art exhibition program, with several permanent exhibits and various rotating ones. These are located throughout the airport, from outdoor areas to the concourses, and even on the trains and in the train tunnels. During the winter holiday season, DEN has its own ice-skating rink in the Plaza that hosts events such as figure skating and ice hockey teams.

Three Denver Airport currency exchange offices are located in the airport: one in Concourse A, one in Concourse B, and one within the Jeppesen Terminal on Level 5.
