In Pennsylvania, alcohol-related motor vehicle deaths exceed the national average by 24%. In an effort to raise awareness about the dangers of drinking and driving, we’ve set up our Uber breathalyzer kiosk in various cities throughout the Keystone State—including Philly, Pittsburgh and Scranton.

This week, we’re bringing it to Harrisburg for St. Patricks’s Day—one of the biggest drinking days of the year. Keep a look out for the Uber breathalyzer kiosk on Thursday, March 17 in downtown Harrisburg, as we continue to encourage Pennsylvanians to opt for a safe ride home.

At Uber, we’re changing the way people think about drinking and driving. Cities that have Uber have seen a 3.6%-5.6% decrease in the number of people killed in cars due to alcohol, according to a 2015 study by Temple University. By providing a reliable ride at the tap of a button — no matter the time or place — Uber is empowering people to make better, safer choices.

Check out the video below to see how we’re doing our part to keep Pennsylvania safe.
