Consider this an invitation to chill out. Your office probably doesn’t have a slip ‘n slide, and running through the sprinklers likely won’t go over well with your boss. Don’t sweat it – you can still feel like a kid again by ordering ice cream on demand with #UberIceCream

This Friday, July 24, 2015 we’re bringing a frozen favorite back for the fourth year in a row.

This is a global promotion with local flavor, and it’s as simple as ever: tap a button, and get a brain freeze in hundreds of cities around the world.

In New Orleans, we have partnered with local favorite Sucré to bring you delicious, refreshing gelato to beat the summer heat. As a little lagniappe, all French Quarter orders will be delivered by Need-A-Ride pedicabs. Flavors include Chocolate Stracciatella, Coconut Basil Sorbet, and Vanilla.

In Baton Rouge, we’ll be delivering groovy Ben & Jerry’s ice cream bars in Cherry Garcia and Half Baked flavors.

How it Works

  1. Open the Uber app on Friday, July 24, between 11am-5pm
  2. Set your location and request ICE CREAM
  3. If connected, order away and Ice Cream will be delivered curbside in minutes

What do you get?

New Orleans: $25 for five 5 oz. servings of assorted gelato flavors + Uber swag
Baton Rouge: $20 for five ice cream bars + Uber swag

Demand will be high and availability will be limited.
