Earth Day in the DMV

Today, doing your part to help the planet is as easy as taking an Uber.

Request a hybrid through the EARTH option in the Uber app and we’ll donate 10% of your fare to the Anacostia Watershed Society. Together, we can help support the goal of a swimmable and fishable river by 2025.

HOW IT WORKS:

1. Request a ride by tapping the EARTH option in-app
2. Ride anytime on Earth Day, Wednesday, April 22 until 11:59pm EDT
3. If you’re connected, a hybrid will arrive curbside at your location

DETAILS:

• You can expect the same uberX rates when riding EARTH
• For every ride taken, 10% of the total fare will be donated to AWS*
• Demand will be high, so please be patient and check the app often
