Uber has partnered with C4Q, an organization that helps driver-partners unlock fellowships to study software engineering, at no up-front cost to them, over the course of 10 months. By offering daytime as well as a weekend and night classes, students will be fully immersed in courses that could help them secure a high-paying career at the end of the program. You can apply here.

About the courses:

• Students will learn Android app development, iOS app development, and Full-Stack Web development
• Accepted students will receive laptops and other resources necessary for the courses
• The up-front cost is $0. Once you have been placed in a tech-industry job with a salary of more than $60,000, C4Q requires you to commit to paying 12% of your gross earnings back to C4Q for 36 months
• After your training, you will have access to job search support and career development via structured 1:1 coaching and alumni services for 36 months

Who is eligible?:

In order to be eligible for this program, you must meet the following requirements:

• 18+ years old
• You must be committed to work as a full-stack or mobile developer immediately after graduating
• Your annual income can be no more than $45,000
• Resident of the New York City metropolitan area
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Able to participate for all scheduled program classes and workshops in Long Island City, as well as at off-site events for the full duration of the program (September 2018 through July 2019)
