Jefferson Parish: Make Your Voice Heard

Tomorrow, the Jefferson Parish Council will vote on a ridesharing ordinance that in its current form, would enable uberX to launch.

Unfortunately, Councilmembers are now considering amendments to the ordinance as drafted that would threaten our ability to bring uberX and safe, reliable and affordable rides to your neighborhood. These proposed changes will prevent you from enjoying the same benefits as your neighbors in Orleans Parish, where uberX is up and running thanks to ridesharing legislation passed earlier this month.

Please urge the Council to oppose the new amendments and pass a sensible ridesharing ordinance that will bring uberX to Jefferson Parish.
