- Cypress Restaurant: One of Tallahassee’s finest eateries is Cypress, a restaurant dedicated to modern Southern cuisine. While the menu tends to change according to what is seasonally available, be sure to try the Florida Shrimp and Grits. And whatever you do, don’t forget to save room for dessert, as their drool-inducing ice cream is made in house.
