As the Official Ride of Panorama Music Festival, we’ve partnered with the festival to give you designated Uber pickup and dropoff zones, to help you connect more easily with riders taking trips to and from Randall’s Island during the festival. Read on to learn more about getting to the island, navigating the Uber Zone, peak hours to drive, and more.

Uber at Panorama Music Festival

Hours of operation

The UberX pickup zone staging area will be open from 8pm to 1am, Friday through Sunday (July 27–29). Queuing will not be permitted until 8pm. Most riders will be looking for rides home from the festival between 9pm and 2am on those days.

Getting to Randall’s Island

Panorama Music Festival suggests that drivers approach Randall’s Island from Manhattan over the RFK Bridge, using the ‘Randall’s Island / Icahn Stadium’ exit. Once on the island, follow signs to the Uber Zone. Note that navigation may be inaccurate during event times, as one-way streets have been rerouted for the festival.

Dropoffs

Once on Randall’s Island, you can follow signs to the passenger dropoff area, located near Icahn Stadium. All types of Uber vehicles will be permitted to drop off in this location.

Pickups

The Uber Pickup Zone and Staging Area (for UberX only)

Please note that per festival restrictions, all non-UberX vehicles will be prohibited from picking up on the island between 8pm and 2am, Friday, July 27 — Sunday, July 29.

How UberX pickups work at Panorama Music Festival:

• Follow the signs to the staging area in the Uber Pickup Zone
• Wait for a rider to be directed to your vehicle
• Tap “ENTER CODE” in the top left corner of the Uber Driver app
• Enter the rider’s 6-digit PIN code
• You’re all set! You can start the trip

Please note: once you enter the queue in the lot you will be required to wait until you are matched with a ride request to exit the area.

Pickups for all non-UberX vehicles

Due to music festival restrictions, only UberX vehicles will be permitted to pickup within the official Uber Zone at Randall’s Island. All other vehicles will be unable to pick up on the island from 8pm to 2am, Friday, July 27 — Sunday, July 29.

Earnings offers and incentives

Eligible vehicles on the UberX platform may be able to take advantage of the special event minimum fare of $55 for trips starting at the Uber Zone during Panorama Music Festival.* This minimum fare will run Friday, July 27 through Sunday, July 29.
