Clarendon loading zones
Uber Virginia

Arlington county has launched weekend rideshare loading zones in Clarendon. The loading zones should be used for all nearby rideshare pickups and dropoffs Thursday – Sunday, 9pm – 3am. The County has established these zones in order to improve safety and reduce traffic violations.

Be on the lookout for green-and-white signs noting 5-minute parking that identify the designated loading zones. Riders will be prompted in-app to head to the nearest loading zone to help make pickups and dropoffs in the Clarendon area as smooth as possible.

3-week warning period

There’s a 3-week warning period to build awareness of the changes and allow for rideshare customers to become familiar with the loading zones. Starting on June 22, failure to use the loading zones during these times may result in a citation from the Arlington Police Department.
