Due to construction from the ATLNEXT project at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, airport officials recently changed the pick-up experience at the Domestic Terminals. Thankfully, there are a few tips that can help you get your ride faster and get on your way to grandma’s house.

Tips for an easier pickup

• Head to the International Terminal – if you’re traveling light and don’t need to pick up a bag at baggage claim, hop on the Plane Train to the International Terminal. Once you arrive you can head out the Arrivals door for a smoother, curbside pickup, since it’s not impacted by the construction.
• Ride in style – UberBLACK, UberSUV, and UberSELECT pickups are still curbside at the Domestic Terminals. Consider these options if you’ve got a little extra budget. Remember, you’ll always see your total fare before you request.
• Start with MARTA and save even more – Taking MARTA from the airport is easy – and Uber can then get you those last miles home. Follow the signs for MARTA as your exit the terminal and hop on the train. Request a ride home once you’ve reached the closest station.
