Uber is Swinging Into Spring With Uber Golf

As spring has sprung and millions are swapping skis for clubs, we’re excited to introduce the launch of Uber Golf, a new seasonal offering that helps get casual and avid golfers alike to and from the course. And, for those who prefer the driving range to the greens, Uber’s new partnership with Topgolf is the perfect way to practice those swings.

Introducing Uber Golf

Starting today, riders will start to see Uber Golf roll out on their Uber app. The ultimate way to get to and from the course, Uber Golf includes the option to reserve a ride for up to four players with their clubs. Rides can be reserved up to 90 days in advance, so you can lock in those tee times and focus more on your backswing, and less on how to get there. 

Here’s how it works:

  • Book ahead: Uber Golf is part of Uber Reserve, so your ride to and from the course can be reserved up to 90 days in advance.
  • Choose your ride: Tap the Uber Golf tile in the app and reserve an UberX (up to 2 guests with 2 sets of clubs) or UberXL (up to 4 guests with 4 sets of clubs).

Come Play Around at Topgolf

Rounding out the Uber Golf experience, we’re thrilled to partner with modern golf entertainment leader Topgolf to offer Uber One members 20% off their game play, coming soon*. Whether it's getting your practice swings in or enjoying delicious food and drinks over tees and turf, Topgolf is the premier spot for golfers of all levels. 

Coming soon this spring, Uber One members can redeem their discount by navigating to the "Account" tab within the Uber app and selecting the "Uber One" tile. The unique code can be applied at checkout when booking bay reservations made on Topgolf's app or website, as well as walk-ins. Terms apply, see below.

If a walk-in group of players wishes to split up and use multiple bays during a visit, only one (1) game play coupon may be used by the group as a whole unless the need for multiple bays is due to the group size being above the max bay capacity for Players (6 people), in which case one (1) game play coupon may be used for all maximum capacity bays and up to one (1) additional bay that is not at max capacity. For new Players, a Topgolf Lifetime Membership (one-time cost of $6, subject to change) is required to redeem the game play coupon. Only one (1) game play coupon valid per bay.
