With one of the busiest fall weekends in the rearview mirror, we wanted to take a moment to thank sports fans and visitors from Austin to Oklahoma to New England to Toronto and everywhere in-between for trusting Uber to move them around the city.

This weekend alone, Uber facilitated more than 132,000 safe rides in the DFW area – more than half of those rides were connected to Texas/OU festivities alone!

Uber is more than a convenient ride, it’s a powerful tool in the fight against drunk driving.

With Texas leading the nation in drunk driving accidents, we are working hard to help decrease drunk driving and raise awareness around the options folks have available to get a safe ride home. With each trip completed, we are one step closer to help tackle this issue, which would not be possible without dedicated driver partners.

We want to thank all of the driver-partners who stayed up late and drove all weekend to offer their five star service and help meet the high demand of safe rides.
