Our Business Development builds strategic and scalable partnerships with third parties to advance the mission and goals of the company. Our Business Development team in Amsterdam works with some of the world’s biggest and best known companies to unlock the value of our business.
Communications teams tell Uber’s story to the media and third parties: whether it’s transforming how we get around town and the lives of people who value independent, flexible work, or helping to cut congestion in cities by getting more backsides into fewer cars. That’s partly about building lasting relationships with the key news outlets and journalists and about being creative in how we tell our story.
Given Amsterdam’s appreciation for multi-modal transportation - think bicycles pedaling across any one of the city’s 1,281 bridges or boats navigating its 31 miles of canals - it’s no wonder that the European city is home to Uber’s largest engineering office outside of the U.S. Uber Amsterdam is home to three technical teams and several functions including Engineering, Product, Data Science, and Design. The team solves some of the most interesting tech problems of our time and their work positively impacts millions every day.

Uber is at the forefront of some of the 21st century’s most complex and interesting legal issues. Legal teams in Amsterdam work to support business development on matters ranging from contractual and consumer law to mobility legislation across Europe, Middle East and Africa.

The Operations team in Amsterdam is tasked with managing, optimizing, and growing our business across Europe. From our core ridesharing services, to scaling Uber Eats, or moving trucks with Uber Freight, this team is on the front lines of growing our business.
