Setting up vouchers and gift cards is easy

  • Sign in or create an Uber for Business account with your work email and follow the instructions to sign up your organization. Make sure to choose Vouchers and Gift cards as part of the onboarding.

  • Set up or select the method you want to use for payment.

    Vouchers
    You won’t be charged until recipients redeem their vouchers.

    Gift Cards
    You will pay the full gift card amount when you buy them.

  • Navigate to the vouchers or gift cards dashboard from the left sidebar.

  • Vouchers
    Choose “Create New” from your voucher dashboard. Set the voucher value and customize parameters, like eligible locations, dates, and times. Learn more about restrictions.

    Creating vouchers for event transportation? Choose the “Event Rides” option. There you can add a video or image as well as select from a range of visuals for your vouchers. Fill in key event information, customize messaging, and preview your vouchers.

    Gift Cards
    Add a custom gift card name, choose the number of gift cards you want to order and the value of each gift card.

  • Vouchers
    You can distribute your vouchers by email through your Uber dashboard or with a shareable link. Vouchers are added to recipients’ personal Uber profile and automatically applied at checkout on eligible rides or Uber Eats orders.

    Gift Cards
    You can choose to have Uber send gift card codes via email or you can download gift-card codes from your Uber for Business dashboard and distribute them how you like.

Gift cards
Gift cards in US dollars are issued by The Bancorp Bank, N.A. Gift cards are redeemable in the Uber and Uber Eats apps. Gift cards can only be redeemed in countries that accept payment in the same currency in which the card was originally issued. Gift card use and redemption are subject to additional terms.
