Introducing Work Perks that Go Beyond the Office
In 2014, Uber for Business brought the magic of Uber to businesses and their employees for the first time. By enabling companies to add their employees to business accounts, Uber for Business makes business travel seamless and corporate meals delightful.
Employees today expect perks that go beyond the basics. A majority of employees — especially younger generations — view perks and benefits as essential to their work experience, not just nice-to-have add-ons. For companies, offering thoughtful, lifestyle-oriented perks is no longer optional; it’s a competitive advantage.
That’s why Uber for Business is launching two new perks for employees, linked to their company’s business account.
Unlock 12 Months of Uber One, Free
To give employees more value from the rides and meals they already love, Uber for Business is introducing a new perk: a complimentary 12-month Uber One membership for employees, who are linked to their company’s business account, in the U.S., Brazil, Australia, and Canada.
With Uber One, benefits apply to both personal and business profiles, so employees can enjoy everyday benefits that make both their work travel and personal lives easier. Uber One memberships in the US include:
- 6% Uber One credits on all Uber rides, plus top-rated drivers
- Automatic surge discounts when rider demand is higher than usual
- $0 Delivery Fee on food, grocery, and other orders
- Up to 10% off delivery and pickup orders
- 10% Uber One credits on car rentals
- Exclusive member-only promos and special items
With Uber One, employees can save time and money on the ground, but the benefits don’t stop there.
Doubling Down on Rewards with Delta Air Lines
Through Uber’s partnership with Delta Air Lines, employees can also turn their rides and orders into rewards in the sky.
Employees who link their Delta SkyMiles® and Uber accounts already earn miles on eligible Uber rides and Uber Eats orders, but through a new benefit, we are supercharging the value of your business travel. Employees can now earn 2x miles with Delta on eligible business rides and orders.
That means whether employees are catching a ride to the airport, heading to a meeting, or ordering a meal after a long day, they get even more out of every dollar spent.
Starting today, eligible users linked to their organization’s Uber for Business account will see the 12-month Uber One promotion appear in the business hub in their Uber app. Learn more about Uber One corporate memberships here.
To start earning miles with Delta, make sure your Delta and Uber accounts are connected and you’re using your business profile to request a ride or order a meal. To do this, you can link your accounts easily in the Uber app:
- Update to the latest version of the Uber or Uber Eats app and open the app.
- Tap on Account > Partner Rewards > Delta SkyMiles
- You’ll be directed to a landing page. Tap ‘Link’ and log in to your Delta SkyMiles account to connect your accounts.
- Book rides using your Business Profile and start earning!
