You’ve decided that you’d like to try to make money with Uber AI Solutions using your expertise and interests. The first step is to create an account, also known as onboarding.

To get started, click the Sign up button below. You can choose to use your phone number, email, or an existing Google or Apple account.

Getting started

Uploading documents

Part of this process will include a background check. To make sure you’re verified quickly, enter your name exactly as it appears on your government-issued ID. The ID you use must be valid for at least 30 days. It can be either a driver’s license, state or city identity card, passport, employment authorization document, or US Permanent Resident Card.

Upload a clear photo of your ID (a blurry photo will slow this process and keep you from earning on our platform). You can submit a PDF, JPEG, JPG, or PNG file that’s 5MB or less.

Setting up your profile

Once logged into the Uber AI Solutions portal, navigate to the Task Hub at the top of the menu on the left-hand side of your screen. Here, you’ll find a list of active tasks on our platform. To unlock paid tasks, choose Complete Onboarding and begin filling out your specializations. Note: After you submit your skills, you will not be able to change them (you can add new skills later, but any skills you add cannot be removed).

If you’re a technical expert, for instance, you might be able to choose coding to evaluate prompt-response pairs in programming languages like JavaScript. STEM professionals can select a primary domain, such as chemistry, and add further super-specializations. And perhaps you’re multilingual? If so, you can add up to 5 languages in which you’re fluent.

All experience levels are welcome. And if you have an advanced degree, you can upload your diploma or transcripts to verify it. Providing documentation will help you unlock higher-level opportunities, especially if you have a bachelor’s or graduate-level degree. The more specialized your degree program, the more you can participate in tasks that fit your skill sets.

Including your recent work history as a freelancer and years of experience will also help us place you in tasks suited to your level of expertise.

Getting your profile verified

Finally, review the Contract Agreement and select Confirm and finish when you’re ready. Identity and profile verification typically takes up to 4 days.

Adding payment information

While your profile is under review, you can navigate to the Uber AI Solutions portal to add your bank details and tax profile. We’ll use your bank information to issue direct deposits to you when you complete a task. We collect your W-9 details to make sure we have accurate taxpayer information (such as your SSN or EIN), so that we can report your income correctly on 1099 forms. This also helps you avoid a 24% tax withholding, which may apply if we don’t have your certified information.

Adding this information ensures that your future payouts are quick, simple, and ready to go after you complete your first task. We’re unable to assign tasks to you until this step is completed.
