Admit it, you’re one of those people – stoked to take advantage of fall festivities, day dreaming of pumpkin patches and hayrides, and then out of nowhere it’s winter and you’ve straight up missed the whole fall season. No more!
Take a look at all of the ways to take advantage of everyone’s favorite season.
Harvest Farm Fall Fest | October 9 – 31
Colorado Avalanche Home Games | Oct 10, 14, 21, 24
So we all know it – Colorado just crushes it in the pro sports department. No matter what they say, don’t even listen to them – we’re the best! October brings us the regular season of the NHL. Go and support our boys of the Colorado Avalanche at one of their 4 home games at the Pepsi Center. You can get single tickets starting at $28! Plus everyone knows hockey games are the most fun to watch live – it’s sweater weather inside!
Haunted Houses – 13th Floor and The Asylum | Oct 14 – Nov 1
Looking for a fright? Uber has partnered with 13th Floor Productions – masterminds of the scariest haunted houses in the country. Starting on October 14th, take an Uber to one of their 2 haunted houses – The Asylum or 13th Floor – and redeem $3 off of your ticket. Present your Uber receipt when you arrive to redeem the discount. And be warned – you may be surprised how fast you move through the haunted houses, and heel and flip flops area the lost and found’s most popular items.
IF/THEN | Oct 13 – 25
Zombie Crawl | Oct 17
We all know it – zombies are scary. But don’t worry, these aren’t real zombies (we checked). Join thousands of other zombie enthusiasts as they take to the streets of Denver on October 17th to scare the daylights out of unsuspecting tourists on the 16th Street Mall. It’s Denver’s best kept secret, and in our opinion, the best parade of the undead in the whole country. As an added bonus – maybe the zombie problem we have will help keep rent prices down. Dare to dream.
Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon | Oct 18
Museum of Nature & Science Free Day | Oct 19
Free Day’s are the best, and these days they are few and far between. The Denver Museum of Nature and Science always pulls through by opening it’s doors to the public a few times a year. To make this trip even more special, stop by one of their many exhibits. If you’re in the mood for an education in the spooky, stop by The Power of Poison exhibit.
