At Uber, we’ve been hard at work building new ways to help make your airport travel journey more efficient, affordable, and as effortless as possible.

In recent months, we’ve rolled out Uber Shuttle, a convenient and ultra-affordable way to get to LaGuardia Airport; UberXXL, a new ride option with more trunk space when you have extra luggage; Flight Capture, a new feature with Uber Reserve to ensure a timely and stress-free airport arrival; UberX Share at Airports, a convenient way to save up to 25% compared to UberX when you opt in to ride with another traveler; and more

Now, we’re excited to share that beginning this spring, Uber will be Delta’s exclusive rideshare and delivery partner in the U.S. Together, we’re teaming up to offer Uber customers the opportunity to earn Delta SkyMiles when they ride and order. Once accounts are linked, here’s how SkyMiles Members can earn in the U.S.*:

  • Uber Eats: 1 mile per dollar spent on $40+ restaurant and grocery orders
  • Airport Rides: 1 mile per dollar spent on UberX rides to and from airports
  • Premium Rides: 2 miles per dollar spent on premium rides such as Uber Comfort and Uber Black
  • Uber Reserve: 3 miles per dollar spent on Uber Reserve trips

And since 15% of all Uber ride bookings either begin or end at an airport, we know Uber customers will be racking up miles with Delta at the tap of a button.

“Delta is thrilled to come together with Uber to create a connected travel experience from start to finish,” said Delta CEO, Ed Bastian. “This partnership creates more choice for customers to get to their destination in a way that works best for them.”

We look forward to launching this partnership along with more exciting benefits in the spring. In the meantime, we encourage customers to sign up on the waitlist to be the first to hear when account linking is available.
