Extended Festival grounds access for Uber Black Car and SUV
No need to walk to your destination on Friday night! Thanks to special access granted to Uber by the City of Philadelphia, our Black Car and SUV options will be available inside the Francis Festival grounds for extended hours — until Saturday at 2am — and will resume again on Monday at 3am.
Low-cost reliable rides to and from your local train station
Parking will be chaotic. Ditch your keys and take Uber from your home to the nearest operating train station, and back again — you can find a map of open SEPTA stations here.
Split your fare to save money and help reduce congestion
Split your fare to the Festival grounds with your fellow pilgrims to keep your costs down.
HOW UBER WILL HELP GET YOU HOME FROM THE FRANCIS FESTIVAL GROUNDS
- Request outside the Francis Festival grounds. Walk a couple of blocks outside the Francis Festival grounds prior to requesting your ride so you can easily contact and find your driver. Review the map above for details.
- Recommended: Manually enter your pickup location address before your request so your driver knows where to meet you. Call your driver to confirm the location and ensure no road closures are impacting your pickup location.
- There will be traffic, so please be patient. Give yourself plenty of time to get to and from your location. With safety being the highest priority, drivers may take longer as they navigate pedestrian traffic.

* The Francis Festival grounds span from South Street north to Spring Garden Street, Ridge Ave, and Girard Ave. The western boundaries include Powelton Ave to 38th Street to Route 13. Within the Francis Festival grounds, request Black Car and SUV until Saturday 2am and again beginning Monday at 3am. WAV will be available within the Francis Festival grounds throughout the weekend. If you are outside of the Francis Festival ground perimeter you can request uberX from Friday 6pm until Monday morning. Black Car and SUV are also available in this area between Saturday 2am and Monday 3am.
