Smarter Shopping, Bigger Savings with Groceries on Uber Eats

With grocery prices on the rise – and fruits and veggies driving much of the surge, sparking the term “veggie-flation” – Uber Eats is doubling down to make fresh food delivery easier, more dependable, and above all – more affordable.
Here’s what to expect with our updated grocery delivery experience:
Introducing Fresh Days
Every week, Uber Eats customers can unlock Fresh Days — a new program offering big savings of up to 50% off on select items such as fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, dairy, and more. Fresh Days are available now for customers in the US, Canada, UK, South Africa, France, Japan, Taiwan, and Spain – with more countries coming soon. Offers vary by country and may be exclusive to Uber One members in some markets. For Fresh Days in the U.S., Uber One members get an exclusive 30% off every Tuesday on select fresh produce, meats, dairy, and eggs.
Your groceries, your way
Shopping for groceries on Uber Eats is now more personalized and flexible than ever, with tools that put you in control, and bring you right into the aisle with your shopper:
- Replacement preferences: Choose how you’d like unavailable items replaced. We’ll also suggest smart alternatives— powered by AI and tailored to price, nutrition, and your past orders. Soon, your preferences will be saved automatically for future deliveries.
- Live order editing: You can change items or quantities up until your shopper places them in the cart. Just tap ‘Add items’ or ‘Edit items’ on your order-tracking screen.
- Enhanced Live Order Chat: Shoppers can nowshare photos of items that are unavailable or lower quality, so you can approve, swap, or refund in real time.
Aldi joins Uber Eats
We’re excited to welcome ALDI to Uber Eats, offering a curated selection of groceries from more than 2,500 stores nationwide. ALDI is also the first retailer on Uber Eats to accept SNAP-EBT payments nationwide from day one, helping make grocery delivery more inclusive and accessible.
Fresh Guarantee
We know freshness matters most. On the rare occasion your fresh items aren’t up to standards, we’ll make it right. It’s our promise that if a fresh item arrives spoiled, damaged, past its date, or stale, our Fresh Guarantee ensures a full review and a refund for eligible items. Starting next month, the Freshness Guarantee badge will make it even easier to shop with confidence.*
With these updates, and our ongoing focus on partnering with the world’s best grocers and retailers, we’re continuing to deliver more choice, convenience, and savings right to your doorstep.
