Whether you want to go to the scenic Pondicherry or wish to explore the monoliths at Mahabalipuram, you can count on Intercity to get you there. You don’t have to make any advance booking, just open your app and request an Intercity ride when you are ready to go. 

How does this work?

1. Open your Uber app & enter your destination. Eg. Pondicherry, Mahabalipuram, Pulicat lake
2. You’ll be able to view an Intercity option on the app.
3. Select the Intercity option to request a ride to your chosen weekend getaway destination
4. Ride in comfort from your doorstep to anywhere in Tamil Nadu.

Fare structure

After 20km, per km fare is ₹9.

You can enjoy flat fares of Rs. 2500 to Pondicherry.

Fares to Mahabalipuram ~Rs.1300

Fares to Pulicat Lake ~Rs. 1400

• Things to know
  • A sedan will be your Intercity ride.
  • Tolls, Parking and Permits: Tolls, parking and permit charges are extra and will need to be paid separately to the driver. They are not included in the flat fare/final fares.
  • Cash only: Your intercity ride is payable by cash only (Except for centralized Uber for Business account). So keep that change ready to enjoy a hassle-free experience.
  • Round the clock: You can book your Intercity ride at any time of the day. No need to book in advance.
