Walking in La Paz, Baja California Sur, can be a pleasant way to explore certain areas, particularly the downtown and waterfront zones. The city features a scenic malecón (seaside promenade) that is pedestrian-friendly and ideal for leisurely strolls. Many restaurants, shops, and attractions are within walking distance in these central areas. However, the warm climate, especially during summer, and the spread-out nature of some neighborhoods may make walking less comfortable or practical for longer distances. Sidewalks and infrastructure in key areas are generally well-maintained, but exploring beyond the central zones may require alternative transportation.
