Information for driver-partners
Eligible driver partners are able to pick up and drop off riders traveling to or from Hobart Airport at the Commercial lane in front of the terminal.
How to become eligible for pick-ups at Hobart Airport
To receive trip requests to and from Hobart Airport, you will need to register with the airport by installing the ZipBy app and creating an account linked to Hobart Airport. You’ll need to review and agree to the Hobart Airport Terms and Conditions and ZipBy Driver Terms and Conditions.
We recommend you seek independent legal advice before entering into an agreement with the Airport so that you understand what is required of you under that agreement.

Pickups at the airport
Enter the virtual queue
Once you have received an in-app confirmation for airport access approval, place yourself in the airport queue by heading to the designated waiting area. The designated waiting area is the only location where driver-partners can receive trip requests.
Accept a trip request and head to the airport terminal
Once you are at the front of the queue, you will receive the next available trip request. In order to meet your rider, follow navigation to the Commercial Lane in front of the terminal. The Commercial Lane is accessible via Loop Road.
Dedicated Kerbside Pickup zone
Uber has a dedicated Uber Kerbside Pickup zone on the left hand side of Commercial Lane in front of the terminal. In order to meet your rider, follow navigation to the dedicated Uber Pick-up area.
Locate your rider and exit the airport
Once your rider is in your car, you can begin the trip just as you normally would, following signage to exit the airport.
