It's easy to get started

Hit the road

1

Sign up online

Tell us about yourself and your car, motorbike, scooter or bicycle. We’ll need a copy of a few personal documents, including your driver’s licence, to arrange to run a background check on your behalf.

2

Visit a Greenlight Hub

Visit an Uber Greenlight Hub, where you can pay your deposit to pick up your insulated delivery bag. The Uber Greenlight Hub can also help you upload any remaining documents.

3

Activate your account

Once you've provided all the required documents and passed a background check, all you need to do is download the Uber driver app. Requirements vary by city.

Here’s how your fare is calculated

1

Pick up the order: $3 per trip

Tap to accept a request, then the app will display guidance options for how to get to the restaurant. You may want to take your phone with you to confirm the order number.

Fares for delivery trips that involve one pick up and multiple drop offs are based on a simple formula.

2

Drive to destination: $1.60 per km

Swipe to "Begin Trip" then the app will display guidance options for how to get to the dropoff destination.¹

3

Drop off the order: $2 per trip

Look for information about where to meet the customer curbside. You can always call the customer if you have trouble finding them.

All advertised rates are amounts before the 10% Uber service fee is applied.
