Uber commissioned the Chinese University of Hong Kong's Centre for Communication and Public Opinion (CCPOS) to collect public views on how to improve the city's point-to-point service between June 7th to 9th. The survey interviewed 540 people, and 76 per cent of respondents said Hong Kongers need to have an alternative point-to-point traffic choice, such as Uber.

Last week, we launched #IChooseUber - a campaign calling for citizens of Hong Kong to support ridesharing by making their voices heard, and sharing their stories. In just three days, over 10,000 Hong Kongers have done just that, showing their strong support and desire for much needed change!
