Uber started in San Francisco in 2009 to solve a simple problem: how do you get from point A to point B at the touch of a button? More than 15 billion trips later across the world, we are building products to help people earn with flexibility, go anywhere, and get anything.

Since launching our Mobility business in the UK in 2012, Uber is now a licenced Private Hire Operator in over 40 towns and cities. In 2020, 5 million people regularly used the app across the UK.

This report provides Uber’s Gender Pay Gap for our three UK entities that meet the threshold for reporting. Our reporting also covers two cohorts of individuals: 1) Drivers on the Uber Platform (who have been engaged as workers since 17th March 2021); and 2) Uber Employees.
