When you place a delivery order on Uber Eats, fees will apply in addition to the price of the products that you order. We provide a breakdown of these fees upfront in the order process.  You can find information below on the different fees that may apply.

The fees set out below may apply to delivery orders on Uber Eats. You will always be charged a Delivery fee and either a Service Fee or a Marketplace Fee, and you may be charged a Bag Fee. Uber One members receive £0 Delivery Fee and extra savings on eligible orders (see Uber One terms and conditions).

Delivery Fee: Varies based on things like your location, the restaurant and the availability of nearby delivery people but always between £0.29 and £14.99.

Service Fee: For restaurant orders delivered by Uber, this is 12% of your subtotal but always between £0.99 and £3.29 plus a small order service fee of £0.99 if your subtotal is under £10. For Grocery, Retail and Convenience orders, the fee is 10% of your subtotal but always between £0.99 and £2.99 plus a small order service fee of £3 if your subtotal is under £15. This is an alternative to the Marketplace Fee.

Marketplace Fee: Only applies to shops that deliver their own orders. This is 12% of your subtotal but always between £0.99 and £3.29. A small order fee does not apply to these orders. This is an alternative to the Service Fee.

Long Range Fee: You’ll only be charged this fee when ordering from beyond the standard delivery distance of 4 KM. The fee varies based on factors including distance and courier availability, but is always between £0.99 and £3.99. Where this fee applies to a store, it may be displayed as "Long Range" or "Further away".

Bag Fee: Up to £0.60 per order for orders from most retail (incl. grocery, pharmacy and alcohol) merchants and some restaurants. This fee is charged by the merchant and not by Uber Eats.

Optional fees

Skip The Wait Fee: You’ll only be charged this fee if you choose to Skip the Wait when there is limited courier availability and you place your order. This reduces the wait time to dispatch our couriers. The fee varies based on factors like courier availability, but is always between £1.50 and £7.99.

Priority Delivery Fee: You’ll only be charged this fee if you choose Priority Delivery service when you place your order. This is our fastest possible delivery service. The fee varies based on factors including distance and courier availability, but is always between £1.49 and £4.99.

Saver Delivery:  You can choose Saver Delivery at checkout for more affordable delivery. By choosing Saver Delivery, our couriers will prioritize other orders in the area before yours. The savings vary based on factors like courier availability, but is always between £0.5 and £1.0.
