As an UberEXEC or uberXL partner, you’re able to switch easily between your primary option and uberX. With this in mind, we thought we’d share our tips for some good times to switch between the two using the Trip Type Filter.

Switching between your default option and uberX isn’t compulsory – it’s entirely up to you. But, if you do fancy doing it, we’ve looked through the data to find the busiest times on average on uberXL and UberEXEC, so that you can always make a smart choice.

Below you’ll find some suggested times to use the filter between the two, as well as a guide to using the filter.

When is a good time to use the filter for a London uberXL partner?

• On Monday - Thursday, good times to filter out uberX/POOL trips are 4pm - 6pm and 10pm - 12am
• On Friday & Saturday, a good time to filter out uberX/uberPOOL trips is 10pm - 4am
• On Sunday, a good time to filter out uberX/uberPOOL trips is 12pm - 6pm
  

When is a good time to use the filter for a London UberEXEC partner?

• On Monday - Thursday, a good time to filter out uberX/uberPOOL trips is 9pm - 12am
• On Friday & Saturday, a good time to filter out uberX/uberPOOL trips is 6pm - 8pm. Another good time to filter out uberX and uberPOOL trips on Fridays and Saturdays is 11pm-2am.
• On Sunday, a good time to filter out UberX/POOL trips is 11am - 6pm.

Remember, you can use the Trip Type Filter anytime you want – or not at all. The timings above are simply suggestions.

You can either:

Filter out uberX/uberPOOL requests so you only get secondary option requests (uberXL or UberEXEC)

Or

Filter out the secondary product you drive (uberXL or UberEXEC), and only get uberX/uberPOOL requests.

uberX & UberPOOL must be filtered out together – you can’t, for example, filter out only uberPOOL. You are also unable to filter out every ride option – at least one must be selected.
