Quest is Uber’s new programme that allows you to unlock a lower service fee and keep more of the trip fare, giving you better control over how you use the Uber app.
For every Quest, there are a certain number of trips that you need to complete. Once you hit that target, whether it’s on the first, second or third day, you’ll automatically switch to a lower service fee for every other trip you take until the end of the Quest period. It’s that simple.
And then, when the Quest ends, your service fee will revert back to the regular amount.
How does Service Fee Quest work?
Designed with flexibility in mind, you’ll be offered two different Quests – one during weekdays (Monday to Thursday) and one during weekends (Friday to Sunday). You can choose to complete both Quests in one week if you wish.
Each Quest has two options to choose from, so if you want to take part, you can decide which works best for you. They’ve been designed so that drivers with different schedules can all benefit from the programme.
In order to participate:
- Go to the Promotions section in your Driver app
- Choose the Quest that best fits your driving schedule
- Once you’ve completed the required number of trips in your Quest, you’ll get a lower service fee on all future trips until the end of your Quest period.
For example, a Quest might have an option to unlock a 14% service fee after 6 completed trips, or a 7% service fee after 17 completed trips. You simply choose the option that works best for you and how much you want to drive.
The above is an example only. You can find details of your available Quests in the Promotions section of your Driver app. This doesn’t mean that you’re required to complete any minimum number of trips. Also there is no issue if you sign up for a Quest but don’t complete it for any reason.
Once your Quest ends, you can sign up to another.
