Meet the vehicle requirements
To drive with Uber in Quebec City, your vehicle must meet the following minimum requirements:
- 4-door vehicle
- A solid roof
- 9 years or newer (2010 vehicle model year or newer)
- Maximum of 350,000 km
Vehicle Inspection

Registration
The vehicle does not need to be registered in your name to qualify but must be registered in the Province of Quebec.
Insurance
Quebec has approved an insurance policy from Intact Insurance designed specifically for ridesharing partners. All partners are also required to maintain a personal insurance policy. Uber Sticker
The Uber sticker must be displayed when you are driving with Uber. Place it on the bottom right side of the rear windshield.
Not having the Uber sticker on the car can result in heavy fines, copme pick up yours at the Uber Centre.

- At least 6 passengers seats (7 seats with the driver)
- 9 years or newer (2010 vehicle model year or newer)
- Good interior and exterior condition
- No salvaged or rebuilt vehicle
Most SUVs and minivans qualify to drive with UberXL. See our list of popular models, but others may qualify too.
Comfort
Comfort was designed to maximize possibilities on the Uber platform.
Additional requirements:
- Maintain eligibility on a different Uber option such as UberX, Select, UberXL, Uber Black, or Uber Black SUV
- Have a minimum star rating of 4.85 based on at least 250 trips
- Drive a vehicle with more legroom than smaller, compact cars eligible for UberX and that meet the minimum vehicle year requirement
Uber sticker
Under local regulations for Quebec City, all partners must display an Uber decal on their vehicle while online. Place one on your rear passenger windshield facing outward. You can remove it when you decide to go offline and save it for the next time. Pro tip: keep the paper it comes with to place your sticker on when not in use.
