This week we’re combining bites and flights, where an order via Uber Eats could unlock a future feast with a view – either sky high, beach-side or state-side.

We’ve paired up with Qantas Frequent Flyer to serve up a side of over five million Qantas Points over the next five days for the fastest orders placed with local restaurants via the Uber Eats app.

Starting today, the fastest 51 orders placed after noon AEST via the Uber Eats app will win from a bounty of Qantas Points – up to a maximum of 50,000 Qantas Points per winning order. That’s enough for a return flight from Perth to the Gold Coast, a trip from Melbourne to Queenstown or a return journey from Sydney to Byron Bay (plus taxes fees and carrier charges)*.

With orders from any local restaurant on the Uber Eats app potentially the gateway to points, your fish and chips could be a boarding pass for fish and trips – an order of Barramundi could land you a side of points for a return trip to Bundy.

Once you’ve ordered, just sit back and wait for a push alert asking if you want a side of flights with your order – there’s at least 1 million Qantas Points up for grabs every day with more than 250 lunchtime winners across the 5 days.

Prize winners can use their points to book flights, hotels, or choose from a range of other rewards.

A spring roll might send you to Alice Springs, a Hamburger could transport you to Hamilton Island, a main featuring beef could land you on the Great Barrier Reef or a can of cola could have you quenching your thirst in Cairns – but you’ll have to be quick with only the fastest 51 orders placed each day qualifying for points.

How it works:

  • Link your Qantas Frequent Flyer account to your Uber account at qantas.com/uber by midnight to be eligible to earn Qantas Points on your order the following day.
  • Be one of the first to place your order after 12pm AEST and stay tuned for an Uber Eats notification to see if you’ve been fast enough to win the Qantas Points.
  • Your Qantas Points will be credited to your Qantas Frequent Flyer account within 14 days of being notified that you have won.
  • If you have won, start planning your next holiday courtesy of your latest takeaway.
